Originally from Hong Kong, I came to the United States in 2013 to pursue my childhood dream of being a designer and an artist.
I graduated with double Bachelor of Arts degrees in Visual Design and Art Studio with honors at the University of California, Davis.
I found myself deeply attracted to the scenes behind the design, which led me to the path for UI/UX Design. I earned my Master of Science degree with distinction in Human-Computer Interaction at the DePaul University.
Currently, I am in the process of pursuing a Doctoral Business Administration Degree, concentration in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics (BIDA) at Westcliff University.
My first leadership journey started from being one of 16 directors, Graphic Director, in a student organization to host an open-house event Picnic Day at UCDavis.
My entrepreneurial journey began in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when I found myself without traditional employment. With my design experience in advertising, marketing, branding, graphics, UI/UX design, and product development, I successfully collaborated with more than 50 clients on over 100 projects in different industries.
Over the past 10 years, I have consistently evolved from a Graphic Designer to an Experience Designer, entrepreneurship mindset ultimately lead me to my current role as who I am.
Archery is my favorite sport where I find myself focused and mentally peaceful shooting in nature. I began by joining the UC Davis Archery Club and participated in 2 indoor competitions. I am now a certified archery instructor, continue practicing, teaching, and promoting the sport.
Gym is a place where I empower myself and take a break from work, recognizing the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Rock climbing is another passion of mine, as it embodies the spirit of perseverance and never giving up, and the satisfaction of reaching the summit is Supreme!
Art provides me with the freedom to express my creativity and emotions. I find calmness when I immerse myself in the world of Creation. The DIY crafts I've explored include candles, ceramics, terrariums, and reed diffusers. The next one on my list that I'm eager to try is tufting!
I enjoy music concerts, festivals, and listen to different types of songs in different languages. After learning the piano for 10 years, I am capable of playing any songs and self-teaching myself to play the acoustic guitar during leisure time to further fulfill my passion for music. Learning how to be DJ!
I'm progressing on the blue/black runs, and my ultimate goal is to conquer the black diamonds trails! During the winter season, I will go on a solo trip to snow mountains. Colorado is a beautiful state as my top choice for snowboarding! So far I've been to 10 mountains and can't stop!
In 2016, I adopted Caramel from an animal shelter when he was just 8 weeks old, small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. I was the fortunate first human to meet with him, and our bond grew strong since then. He has been my loyal companion, accompanying me on my life journey and travels.
Reading and thinking help me better understand myself, diverse personalities, and human thought processes. I write, listen to podcast, and journal daily to track my personal growth, express gratitude, reflect on my experiences, and record insights from my learning.
My longest road-trip was 20 days! I've lived in both West and Mid coasts, embarking on journeys to 12 different states, and exploring the cultures, cuisines, and natural wonders of 9 countries. These adventures have significantly broadened my horizons and enriched my life experiences.
